RRB NTPC Undergraduate Recruitment 2026

Railway Recruitment Boards have issued Centralised Employment Notice CEN No. 07/2026 for recruitment to Non-Technical Popular Categories (Under Graduate) posts. The notification lists 1,688 vacancies across four post categories.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official unified RRB website at https://rrb.indianrailways.gov.in.
2. Navigate to the relevant RRB recruitment page and open CEN No. 07/2026 for NTPC Undergraduate posts.
3. Create an account if you have not already created one for the applicable RRB recruitment system. Candidates with an existing account should use their existing credentials.
4. Read the notification and check the post parameters, medical standards and RRB-wise vacancy details.
5. Select only one RRB and provide eligible post and Railway Zone preferences carefully.
6. Complete the online application with accurate personal, educational and category details.
7. Complete the required live photograph and upload the prescribed documents and signature as instructed.
8. Pay the applicable examination fee online and submit the application before the deadline.
9. Save the application confirmation and payment receipt for future reference.

Important: The account-creation details and chosen RRB cannot be changed through the modification window. Multiple applications can result in rejection.

Documents Required

• Recent live photograph captured according to the application instructions
• Scanned signature in the prescribed format
• Class 10 certificate or other prescribed date-of-birth proof
• Class 12 certificate and marksheet
• SC/ST community certificate, if applicable
• OBC-NCL certificate and prescribed declaration, if applicable
• EWS certificate, if applicable
• PwBD/UDID disability certificate, if applicable
• Ex-Servicemen documents, if applicable
• Other certificates required for reservation, fee concession or age relaxation
• Valid mobile number and personal email address

Application Fee

The notification provides for a standard examination fee of Rs.500 for candidates not eligible for the concession and Rs.250 for eligible concession categories, including SC, ST, female, PwBD and other specified categories. Applicable refund conditions depend on the category and appearance in the examination. Check the official notification for the complete fee and refund rules.

Age Limit

The prescribed age range is 18 to 30 years as on 1 January 2027, subject to the category-wise relaxations detailed in the notification. Applicants must check the exact relaxation rules before submitting their application.

Salary Details

• Commercial Cum Ticket Clerk: Pay Level 3; initial pay Rs.21,700.
• Accounts Clerk cum Typist: Pay Level 2; initial pay Rs.19,900.
• Junior Clerk Cum Typist: Pay Level 2; initial pay Rs.19,900.
• Trains Clerk: Pay Level 2; initial pay Rs.19,900.

Important Instructions
