How We Research & Publish
CareerNotification holds itself to strict editorial standards so that job seekers can trust every notification, date, and eligibility detail we publish.
Inaccurate career information has real consequences — a wrong closing date can cause a candidate to miss an application window they spent months preparing for. That is why accuracy and speed are not trade-offs for us; they are both non-negotiable.
The principles below describe the standards our team follows when sourcing, writing, reviewing, and updating content on this platform.
Our Editorial Principles
Primary Sources Only
We publish information exclusively from official government portals, gazette notifications, and authorised recruitment boards. We do not republish from unofficial news sites, social media forwards, or unverified aggregators.
Verification Before Publication
Before any notification goes live, at least one team member cross-checks the key facts — vacancy count, eligibility, application dates, and fee details — against the official PDF or notification page.
Transparent Sourcing
Every notification page links to the official source so readers can verify information themselves. We encourage candidates to always read the official notification before applying.
Timely Updates
When official details change — extended deadlines, revised vacancies, cancelled exams — we update the relevant page as soon as we become aware of the change, and note the date it was last updated.
Corrections Policy
We correct factual errors promptly and without concealment. Significant corrections are noted on the page with a timestamp. We do not silently delete or rewrite content to hide mistakes.
Editorial Independence
CareerNotification has no commercial relationship with any recruitment board, coaching institute, or government body. Sponsored content, if any, is clearly labelled. Our editorial decisions are not influenced by advertisers.
Our Content Workflow
- 01
Source Monitoring
We continuously monitor official portals for UPSC, SSC, Railways, TNPSC, state PSCs, banking regulators, and university recruitment cells.
- 02
Official PDF Review
When a new notification is detected, the official PDF or notification page is downloaded and reviewed in full before any content is written.
- 03
Structured Summary
Key facts — post name, vacancies, eligibility, dates, fees, application link — are extracted and structured for readability without altering meaning.
- 04
Internal Review
A second team member checks critical fields (closing date, vacancy count, eligibility age/qualification) against the source document before publication.
- 05
Publication & Alerts
The notification is published and, where applicable, distributed to subscribers via WhatsApp and Telegram channels.
- 06
Ongoing Updates
Pages are revisited when official updates (corrigenda, date extensions, result declarations) are released, with change timestamps noted on the page.
Scope & Limitations
Despite our best efforts, we are a small team and cannot guarantee exhaustive coverage of every recruitment notification issued in India. We prioritise high-volume, high-impact exams and continuously expand our coverage.
Official notification details can change after our publication without notice. Candidates must always verify the current details on the official website before submitting an application or making a fee payment.
Report an Error
If you spot incorrect information on any page, please let us know immediately. We take every report seriously and aim to investigate and correct errors within 24 hours of notification.
