How to Apply

1. Visit the official Bharat Electronics Limited website at https://www.bel-india.in/ and open the Careers section.
2. Open Advertisement No. 17556/HR/All-India/2026 for Probationary Engineer recruitment.
3. Read the complete notification and verify the eligibility criteria for the Electronics or Mechanical discipline.
4. Register using a valid personal email ID and mobile number. Verify both using the OTPs sent by BEL.
5. Log in with the generated application sequence number and password.
6. Enter personal details, contact information, educational qualifications and declaration details.
7. Upload a recent passport-size colour photograph and scanned signature in the prescribed JPG/JPEG format.
8. Preview the application and correct any errors before final submission.
9. Pay the applicable Rs. 1180 fee through the SBI e-Pay Lite payment gateway, if required.
10. Submit the application and save or print the application form and payment acknowledgement for future reference.

Online registration opens on 28 October 2026 at 2:00 PM. The last date to submit the application and fee is 18 November 2026 at 11:59 PM.

Documents Required

• Valid personal email ID and mobile number
• Recent passport-size colour photograph with white background, not older than three months
• Scanned signature in JPG/JPEG format
• B.E./B.Tech./B.Sc. Engineering degree certificate and mark sheets
• CGPA/GPI/SGPA-to-percentage conversion certificate or formula issued by the university, where applicable
• SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS category certificate, where applicable
• PwBD certificate, where applicable
• Ex-Servicemen certificate and prescribed Annexure-3, where applicable
• Date-of-birth proof: Matriculation/Higher Secondary certificate or eligible birth certificate as specified
• No Objection Certificate (NOC) for candidates employed in Government departments, PSUs or autonomous bodies, to be submitted at interview

• General: Rs. 1180, including GST
• OBC (NCL): Rs. 1180, including GST
• EWS: Rs. 1180, including GST
• SC/ST: Exempt
• PwBD: Exempt
• Ex-Servicemen: Exempt

The notification states that the fee is non-refundable. Women candidates should follow the applicable category-based fee rules specified in the official advertisement.

Important Recruitment Conditions

• Maximum age for UR/EWS candidates is 25 years as on 01.10.2026, with applicable relaxations.
• The CBT is tentatively scheduled for 22.12.2026 and may be changed by BEL.
• The CBT has 125 questions, lasts 120 minutes and carries one mark per question, with a penalty of one-fourth mark for each wrong answer.
• Selected candidates must undergo six months of orientation/on-the-job training and execute a two-year service agreement. The stated breach amount is Rs. 2,00,000.
• Posting may be at any BEL unit or office in India.
